Back for a sixth season as a contributing writer for the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Association with your weekly amateur baseball (Town Team) baseball reports. Including not only game summaries, but upcoming schedules, league standings. Tournament summaries and an occasional special interest feature. The plan is to continue to include: Lakewood League, Central Valley League, Sauk Valley League, Victory League South and Stearns County teams throughout their league playoffs, regional and state tourney games. **CENTRAL VALLEY LEAGUE**

**WATKINS CLIPPERS 1, KIMBALL EXPRESS 0 (5/5/18)**

The Clippers defeated their Central Valley League rivals, backed by player/manager, Matt Geislinger, great pitching performance. The lefty scattered three hits, issued three walks and recorded 13 strikeouts. The Express are a very good hitting team, hats off to Geislinger on a great pitching performance. The Clippers scored the lone run of the game in the top of the ninth inning. Kevin Kramer earned a double and Heath Kramer earned his third single of the game, to drive in Kramer. Kevin Kramer had a great game, he went 3-for-4 with a his big double, he was hit by a pitch and he had a stolen base. Heath Kramer also had a very good game, he went 3-for-5, again the game’s only RBI. Lincoln Haugen, the Clippers catcher, had a great game behind the plate, he also earned a pair of walks. Geislinger earned two walks and he had a sacrifice bunt. Reese Jansen and Logan Linn both earned walks.

The Express’ lefty, Zach Dingmann started on the mound, he threw four solid innings, he gave up just two hits, issued three walks and he recorded seven strikeouts. Andy Dingmann threw two innings in relief, he gave up one hit, issued one walk and he recorded two strikeouts. Matt Dingmann threw two innings in relief, he gave up two hits, issued one walk and he recorded three strikeouts. Zak Wallner threw the final inning in relief, he gave up one hit, issued one walk, one run and he recorded two strikeouts. Joe VonWalde went 1-for-4 with a double, Adam Beyer went 1-for-4 and Matt Dingmann went 1-for-4. Zach Sufka earned a pair of walks and Kyle Winter had a sacrifice bunt.

**LUXEMBURG BREWERS 15, EDEN VALLEY HAWKS 3 (7 In.) (5/6/18)**

The Brewers defeated their Central Valley League foes the Hawks, in a game where they where they fell behind early in the game. With the score 6-3 going into the sixth inning the Brewers put up nine runs on the board. The Brewers’ left hander, J.T. Harren started on the mound, he threw four innings, he issued one walk, one run and he recorded nine strikeouts. Sam Iten threw two innings in relief, he gave up three hits and he recorded two strikeouts to earn the win. Casey Underwood closed it out with one inning of relief, he gave up two hits, issue one walk and surrendered two runs. Chase Aleshire went 4-for-5 with a home run and two doubles for three RBIs. Reed Pfannenstein went 2-for-4 with a big three-run home run and Iten went 2-for-4 for two RBIs and he scored a run. Underwood went 2-for-4 and he scored two runs. Derrick Orth went 1-for-3 with a double, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Ethyn Fruth went 1-for-4, Luke Harren scored a pair of runs, Rhett Fruth scored a run and Shea Roska was hit by a pitch.

The Hawks’ Austin Berg started on the mound, he threw five innings, he was the pitcher of record. Matthew Pennertz went 3-for-3 with RBIs and Austin Schlangen went 2-for-4. Jeff Haag had a big game, he went 3-for-4 and Alex Geislinger went 1-for-4.

**ST. AUGUSTA GUSSIES 5, COLD SPRING ROCKIES 1 (5/6/2018) **

The Gussies earned their second Central Valley League win of the season, with a big win over the Rockies. The Gussies took advantage of some control issues by the Rockies pitchers, along with some very key hits. Travis Laudenbach started on the mound for the Gussies, he threw eight innings to earn the win. He scattered five hits, surrendered one run, issued a pair of walks and he recorded six strikeouts. Luke Richardson closed it out it, with one inning of relief, he recorded one strikeout. Nate Laudenbach went 2-for-4 with a double and a sacrifice fly for two big RBIs and he had a stolen base. Matt Skaja went 2-for-3 for a RBI, he earned a walk, one stolen base and he scored a pair of runs. Dustin Schultzenburg went 1-for-3 with two big RBIs and their veteran left-hander, Brady Grafft earned a pair of walks and he scored one run. Marcus Lommel earned a walk and he scored a run, Nate Gwost earned a walk and he scored a run. Mitch Gwost earned a pair of walks, both Aaron Fruth and Luke Richardson earned walks.

The Rockies starting pitcher, Trevor Lardy threw three innings, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up just one hit, issued a pair of walks, surrendered a pair of runs and he recorded two strikeouts. Sundmark threw two innings in relief, he gave up one hit, one run, issued three walks and he recorded one strikeout. Mehn threw 2 2/3 innings in relief, he gave up three hits, two runs, four walks and he recorded one strikeout and Jordan Neu threw 1/3 of an inning in relief, he recorded a strikeout. Jordan Neu went 1-for-4 with a RBI, and Ryan Hennen went 1-for-3 and he earned walk. Marshal Wirtzfield went 1-for-4, Andrew Allar went 1-for-4, Patrick Hemmingson went 1-for-3 and Sundmark earned a walk and he scored a run.

**PEARL LAKE LAKERS 10, ST. NICHOLAS NICKS 0 (7 In.) (5/6/2018)**

The Lakers defeated their Central Valley League rivals the Nicks, as they collected 16 hits, including four doubles. The Lakers starting pitcher, lefty Mitch Ergen threw six innings to earn the win. He scattered three hits, issued one walk and he recorded six strikeouts. Mitchell Wienke threw the final inning in relief, he recorded two strikeouts. Ryan Wieneke had a big day, he went 3-for-4 with two doubles for three RBIs, he was hit by a pitch and he scored a run. Chad Kunkel went 2-for-4 with a double for two big RBIs and Justin Kunkel went 3-for-3 with a double, he earned two walks and he scored three runs. Mitch Ergen went 1-for-4 for two RBIs and he earned a walk and Andy Linn went 2-for-5 for a RBI. Colten Fruth went 2-for-5 and he scored three runs and Mitch Wieneke went 1-for-4 with two RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored a pair of runs. Alex Miller went 1-for-2, he was hit twice by a pitch and he earned a walk, Matt Krippner earned a walk and he scored a run and Max Fuchs went 1-for-4.

The Nicks’ starting pitcher, Grant Mrozek threw four innings, he gave up nine hits, surrendered five runs, issued four walks and he recorded three strikeouts. John Hoffer threw 2 2/3 innings, gave up seven hits, five runs and he issued two walks. Travis Hanson and Tanner Anderson both went 1-for-3 with each earning a double. Derek Kueckle went 1-for-3 and Grant Mrozek earned a walk and he had a stolen base.

**LUXEMBURG BREWERS 15, ST. NICHOLAS NICKS 4 (4/29/2018) **

The Brewers defeated their Central Valley League foe for their second league win. They outhit the Nicks 16-5, including six extra-base hits, four doubles and a triple. That was more than enough support for the Brewers pitching staff, lefty J.T. Harren started on the mound, he threw three innings. He gave up three hits, three runs, issued two runs and he recorded three strikeouts. Lefty Austin Klaverkamp threw two innings in relief to earn the win. He gave up two hits, issued one walk, surrendered one run and he recorded six strikeouts. Tall right-hander Reed Pfannenstein threw two innings in relief, he gave up three hits and he recorded three strikeouts. Lefty Chase Aleshire had a huge game, he went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a sacrifice fly for two RBIs and he scored three runs. Luke Harren had a big game, he went 3-for-5, he had a triple, double and a sacrifice fly for five big RBIs, one stolen base and he scored three runs. Derrick Orth went 2-for-4 for a RBI, he earned a walk and he had a stolen base and Ethyn Fruth went 2-for-3 for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a pair of runs. Rhett Fruth went 1-for-3 with a double for two RBIs and he scored a pair of runs. Austin Klaverkamp went 1-for-2 with a double for two RBIs, he earned a pair of walks and he scored a run. Reed Pfannenstein had a sacrifice fly for a RBI and Sam Matchinsky was busy, he earned two walks, he was hit by a pitch and he scored three runs. Chris Knaus went 1-for-1 with a RBI and John Fish went 1-for-2. Casey Underwood went 1-for-2 and Harren earned a walk and he scored a run.

The Nicks’ starting pitcher, Travis Hansen threw four innings, he was the pitcher of record. Derek Kueckle went 1-for-3 with a triple and Tanner Anderson went 2-for-3.

**SAUK VALLEY LEAGUE**

**SARTELL MUSKIES 16, SARTELL STONE PONEYS 4 (7 In) (5/6/2018) **

The Muskies started the season with a big win over Sauk Valley League crosstown rivals, the Stone Poneys. Lefty David Deminsky started on the mound, he threw five innings to earn the win. He didn’t give up a hit, he issued three walks and he recorded nine strikeouts. Adam Wenker closed out with two innings of relief, he gave up three hits, issued a pair of walks and he recorded one strikeout. Several Muskies had very good offensive games, leading the way was Brian Schellinger. He went 4-for-4 with a double for four big RBIs and he scored a pair of runs. Jace Otto went 3-for-4 with two doubles for two RBIs and he scored three runs. Tim Burns went 3-for-4 for two RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Andrew Deters back from a one year hiatus, had a good game, he went 2-for-3 with a double for a RBI and he scored three runs. Cody Parch went 2-for-3 with a double for two RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored three runs. Grant Mackenthun went 1-for-1 for an RBI and he scored a run and Adam Schellinger went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Braeden Dykhuizen went 1-for-5, John Schumer earned a walk and he scored a run and Jake Sweeter earned a walk.

The Stone Poneys’ Jeff Amann was the pitcher of record. Jacob Light went 1-for-4 for an RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Shawn Lindsay went 1-for-3 for an RBI and he earned a walk and Josh Schaefer went 1-for-3 for an RBI. William Kranz went 1-for-1 and he scored a run, Logan Peratalo earned a walk, he hit by a pitch and he scored a run. Cooper Lynch earned a pair of walks, Andy Knudson scored a run and Matt Maurer earned a walk.

**FOLEY LUMBERJACKS 15, CLEAR LAKE LAKERS 14 (10 In.) (5/6/18)**

The Lumberjacks defeated their Sauk Valley League rivals the Lakers in a slugfest. Both teams collected 17 hits, including five extra-base hits by the Lumberjacks and seven for the Lakers. The game actually ended on an attempt to steal home by the Lakers. Crafty player/manager Mike Beier started on the mound, he threw 5 1/3 innings. He had the Lakers shut out going into the fifth inning, when the Lakers sent several batters to the plate. Beier gave up 13 hits, issued a pair of walks, surrendered 13 runs and he recorded four strikeouts. Mike Plante threw 4 2/3 innings in relief to earn the win, he gave up four hits, issued one walk, surrendered one run and he recorded two strikeouts. The Lumberjacks’ Ean VonWald had a great game, he went 5-for-6 with a triple and a double for five big RBIs and he scored a pair of runs. Chris Plante had a good game, he went 3-for-6 with a double for two RBIs and he scored two runs. Flexible and talented Evan Warnert had a good game, he went 2-for-6 with a double for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a pair of runs. Drew Beier went 2-for-5 with a walk and he scored a run and Beier went 1-for-3 with a double for a RBI, he had a stolen base and he scored a run. Mitch Keeler went 1-for-4, he earned a walk and he scored three runs and Tyler Long went 1-for-5, he was hit by a pitch, he walked and scored a run. Sam Keeler was credited with a pair of RBIs, he was hit by a pitch, earned a walk and he scored a run and Rich Rasmussen was credited with a RBI and he scored a run.

The Lakers’ Mike Smith started on the mound, he threw seven innings, he gave up 10 hits, surrendered seven runs, issued four walks and he recorded eight strikeouts. Tyler Maurer threw one inning in relief, he gave up three hits, four runs. Ryan Szymanski threw two innings in relief, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up four hits, four runs, one walk and he recorded two strikeouts. Several Lakers had big offensive games, led by Ben Anderson, he went 3-for-5 with two doubles for five RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored two runs. Richard Thompson went 3-for-5 with three doubles for three RBIs and he scored two runs. Tyler Mauer went 3-for-4 with a double and he scored two runs and Jake Samuelson went 2-for-6 with a pair of RBIs. Jordan Golombiecki went 2-for-4 with a RBI, he earned a walk, scored a pair of runs and he had two stolen bases. Brandon Buesgens went 1-for-6 with a big three run home run and Mike Smith went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and a stolen base. Matt Korte went 1-for-4 with a double, he was hit by a pitch and he earned a walk. Izzy Carper went 1-for-4 and he scored a pair of runs and Cole Gueningsman went 1-for-6 and he scored a run.

**STEARNS COUNTY LEAGUE**

**LAKE HENRY LAKERS 7, NEW MUNICH SILVERSTREAKS 2 (5/5/2018)**

The Lakers defeated their Stearns County rivals the Silverstreaks, they collected 11 hits. They had four extra-base hits, including a pair of home runs and a pair of doubles. That was more than enough support of starting pitcher, lefty Aaron Savelkoul, he threw seven innings to earn the win. He scattered five hits, issued three walks, surrendered one run and he recorded five strikeouts. Mitch Weidner closed it out with two innings of relief, he gave up three hits, issued one walk, surrendered one run and he recorded four strikeouts. The Kampsen’s combined with five hits, with two home runs and five RBIs. Josh went 3-for-4 with a two run home run and he scored a pair of runs. Jason went 1-for-4 with a big three run home run and Shane went 1-for-5 and he scored a run. Nick Dingman had a good game, he went 2-for-4 with a double for a RBI and Grant Ludwig went 1-for-3 with a double, he was hit by a pitch and he scored a run. Adam Miller had a good day, he went 2-for-3 with a RBI and Shane Olmscheid went 1-for-1.

The Silverstreaks’ veteran right-hander Jim Thul threw five innings, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up eight hits, surrendered seven runs and he recorded a pair of strikeouts. Nick Stangler threw two innings in relief, he gave up one hit and he recorded three strikeouts. Grant Johnson threw the final inning in relief, he gave up two hits and he recorded one strikeout. Will Funk had a good game, he went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double and he scored a pair of runs. Ty Reller went 1-for-2 with a RBI and he earned a walk and Nick Stangler went 2-for-4. Jacob Hinnenkamp went 1-for-4 and Devin Gertken went 1-for-2. Tanner Rieland went 1-for-2 and Joe Stangler earned a pair of walks.

**ELROSA SAINTS 14, GREENWALD CUBS 2 (7 In) (5/5/2018)**

The Saints collected 14 hits to defeat the Stearns County rival the Cubs in seven innings. The Saints’ Austin Imdieke started on the mound, he threw five innings, he gave up four hits and he recorded five strikeouts to earn the win. Brady Weller threw one inning in relief, he gave up three hits, two runs and he issued two walks. Edwin Martin threw the final inning, he issued three walks and he recorded one strikeout. Matt Schmitz had a good game he went 3-for-4 with two home runs for three big RBIs and he scored three runs. James Kuefler had good game, he went 2-for-4 with three big RBIs and he scored two runs. Ethan Vogt went 3-for-4 for a RBI and he scored a run and Derek Wiener went 2-for-4 for two RBIs and he scored a run. Cody Eichers went 1-for-1 with a home run, he earned a walk, he was hit by a pitch and he scored a pair of runs. Player/manager A.J. Hadley went 1-for-4 and Kevin Kuefler went 1-for-4 and he scored a pair of runs. Both Brady Weller and Kevin Kuefler went 1-for-4 and Kevin scored a pair of runs. Austin Imdieke was credited with a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a run, Brandon Roelike earned a walk and he scored a run and Evan Wiener scored a run.

The Cubs’ Tyler Braegelmann started on the mound, he threw three innings, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up nine hits, issued one walk, nine runs and he recorded two strikeouts. Tyler Hoffman threw three innings in relief, he gave up five hits, four runs, he issued two walks and he recorded three strikeouts. Adam Van Beck went 1-for-3 with a double and he scored a run and Doug Imdieke went 1-for-3 and was credited with a RBI. Ryan Kraemer had a good game, he went 3-for-4 with a RBI and Tyler Leukam went 2-for-3. Brando Worms earned a walk, Ron Pri earned a pair of walks and Zach Estell earned a walk.

**RICHMOND ROYALS 17, ROSCOE RANGERS 5 (5/5/2018)**

The Royals won their second Stearns County League game, as they collected 18 hits to defeat their rivals the Rangers. The Royals collected four big doubles, to help support their pitchers. Lefty Luke Jokela started on the mound, he threw three innings, he gave up one hit, five runs, issued seven walks and he recorded six strikeouts. D.J. Schleicher threw five innings in relief to earn the win, he scattered four hits, no walks and he recorded five strikeouts. Andy Hadley had huge game, he went 4-for-4 with a double for six RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Dusty Adams went 4-for-6 with a double for three RBIs and he scored three runs. Kyle Budde went 3-for-4 with a double for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a run. D.J. Schleicher went 2-for-3 for two RBIs, he earned a pair of walks and he scored two runs. Adam Backes went 2-for-4 for a RBI, he earned a walk, he was hit by a pitch and he scored a pair of runs. Trent Gertken went 1-for-4 with a double, he earned two walks and he scored three runs. Dan Hanson was a busy guy, he went 1-for-3, earned three walks and he scored three runs. Brent Ruegemer went 1-for-3 for two RBIs, he earned two walks and he scored a run. Grant Thomas had a sacrifice fly, he was credited with two RBIs and he earned a walk and Kirby Hemmesch scored a run.

The Rangers’ starting pitcher, Josh Mackedanz, threw 3 1/3 innings, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up eight hits, five walks, seven runs and he recorded three strikeouts. Jordan Schleper threw three innings in relief, he gave up eight hits, six runs, five walks and he recorded a pair of strikeouts. Russell Leyendecker threw one inning in relief, he gave up one hit. Brandon Schleper threw 2/3 of an inning. Brandon Schleper went 2-for-3 for an RBI, he earned a walk and he had a stolen base. R.J. Leyendecker went 1-for-2 for a RBI, earned a walk and he scored a run. Brent Heinen went 1-4 with a sacrifice fly for a RBI and Chuck Mackedanz went 1-for-2, he earned two walks and he scored a run. Devon Savage earned a walk and he scored a run, Jordan Schleper earned a walk, Josh Mackedanz, earned a walk and he scored a run and Zach Mackedanz scored a run.

**MERIE GROVE GROVERS 7, SPRING HILL CHARGERS 6 (5/6/2018)**

The Grovers outhit their Stearns County rivals the Chargers 12 to seven. It did take an extra inning to decide the game in the bottom the 10th inning, when Tanner Klaphake drove in the winning run. The Grovers’ Ben Klaphake started on the mound, he threw 3 2/3 innings, he gave up four hits, surrendered six runs, he issued a pair of walks and he recorded two strikeouts. Matt Imdieke threw 6 1/3 innings in relief to earn the win. He gave up just three hits, issued one walk and he recorded three strikeouts. Klaphake had big day, he went 3-for-5 for two RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Colton Meyer had a big game, he went 3-for-5 with a home run for three huge RBIs. Andrew Welle went 2-for-4, he was hit by a pitch and he scored a pair of runs. Kurt Marthaler went 1-for-4 for a RBI and he was hit by a pitch and Alex Welle went 1-for-4, he earned a walk, had a sacrifice fly and he scored two runs. Jaren Klaphake went 1-for-4 and he was hit by a pitch, Ryan Olmscheid went 1-for-3, he earned a walk and he scored a run and Drake Meyer had a sacrifice fly for a RBI.

The Chargers’ Jordan Welle started on the mound, he threw five innings, gave up seven hits, three runs, two walks and he recorded three strikeouts. Eric Terres threw four innings in relief, he gave up four hits, three runs and he recorded three strikeouts. Austin Schoenberg issued a walk and he surrendered a run, he was the pitcher of record. Nate Terres went 2-for-3 with a sacrifice fly for two RBIs and he scored a run. Eric Schoenberg went 1-for-3 for two RBIs and he earned a pair of walks and Anthony Reverman went for a RBI. Eric Terres went 1-for-4 with a sacrifice bunt and he scored a run and Owen Meyer went 1-for-4, he was hit by a pitch and he earned a pair of walks. Carter Tschida went 1-for-5 and he scored a run, Austin Schoenberg was hit by pitch and he scored a run. Jamie Terres earned a walk and Jordan Orbeck was hit by a pitch.

**VICTORY LEAGUE SOUTH**

**AVON LAKERS 8, FREEPORT BLACK SOX 1(5/5/2018) **

The Lakers defeated their Victory League South rivals the Black Sox by some timely hitting. The Lakers’ Matt Puhelmann started on the mound, he threw five innings, he gave up five hits, issued five walks, surrendered one run and he record five strikeouts. Will Kleinschmidt threw four innings in relief to earn the win. He gave up two hits, issued three walks and he recorded ten strikeouts. Will Kleinschmidt had a big game at the plate too, he went 3-for-3 with a double for a RBI and he earned two walks. Riley Voit went 3-for-5 for two RBIs and he scored a pair of runs. Taylor Holthaus went 2-for-4 with a double and he scored a pair of runs and Caleb Curry went 1-for-3 with a big home run, he earned a walk, he was hit by a pitch and he scored two runs. Matt Meyer earned two walks and he scored a run, Jon Bauer earned a pair of walks and Cody Stich earned a walk and he had a stolen base.

The Black Sox’s Mitch Reller started on the mound, he threw six innings, he was the pitcher of record. He gave up six hits, one run, issued five walks and he recorded seven strikeouts. Lefty Nate Winter threw two innings in relief, he gave up two hits, three runs, issued three walks and he recorded three strikeouts. Lefty Bryan Benson closed it out with one inning of relief, he gave up one hit, one walk and he recorded one strikeout. Troy Freiler went 2-for-3 with a home run and he earned a pair of walks. Jake Braegelman went 2-for-4 with a double and he earned a walk. Eric Eveslage went 1-for-3, he earned a walk and he was hit by a pitch and Brandon Sawyer went 1-for-4 and he earned a walk. Carter Sawyer went 1-for-4 and he earned a walk and Bryan Benson earned a walk. Mitch Reller earned a walk and Trevor Sawyer was hit by a pitch.

**ST. STEPHEN STEVES 6, ST. WENDELL SAINTS 2 (5/6/2018)**

The Steves defeated their Victory League South Division rivals the Saints, backed by solid pitching performances. The Steves’ Nick Krippner started on the mound, he threw five innings to earn the win. He scattered four hits, issued three walks, surrendered two runs and he recorded six strikeouts. Blake Guggenberger threw four innings in relief to earn the save. He gave up three hits, issued one walk and he recorded four strikeouts. Player/manager had a big day, Ben Omann went 2-for-4 with a homer run and a double for three big RBIs and he scored a pair of runs. Ben Bierscheid went 1-for-4 for two big RBIs and Tony Schmitz went 2-for-3 with a double, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Cody Wolhart had a good game, he went 2-for-3 with two doubles and Blake Guggenberger went 1-for-4 for a RBI and he scored a run. Austin Guggenberger went 1-3 and he earned a walk and T.J. Bevans went 1-for-4 and he scored a run. Zach Omann went 1-for-4 and Mr. Consistent Rick Hendrickson was hit by a pitch and he scored a run.

The Saints’ Sam Butler started on the mound, he threw four innings, he gave up seven hits, five runs, two walks and he recorded two strikeouts. John Pogatchnik threw four innings in relief, he gave up four hits, one run and he recorded two strikeouts. Taylor Nitz had a good game, he went 3-for-4 for two RBI and he was hit by a pitch. Beau Maciej went 2-for-5 and he scored a run and Max Posch went 2-for-5 John Pogatchnik earned a walk and he scored a run and Greg Pogatchnik earned a walk. Both Sam Butler and Trevor VanHeel earned walks.

**OPOLE BEARS 8, PIERZ BREWERS 6 (11 In) (5/6/2018)**

Zack Bialka threw seven innings in relief to earn the win, he scattered four hits, issued one walk and he recorded two strikeouts. David Bialka went 1-for-4 with a sacrifice fly for three big RBIs and he earned a walk and Austin Gerads went 2-for-4 for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored a run and Zach Bialka went 2-for-4, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Player/manager Tim Voigt went 2-for-4 for a RBI and he scored a pair of runs and Craig Pfannenstein went 2-for-2, he scored three runs, he was hit twice by a pitch and he had two stolen bases. Mitch Wieneke went 1-for-4 with a double for a RBI and Alex Miller went 1-for-2 for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored one run. Max Fuchs was credited with a pair of RBIs, he earned a walk and he scored a run. Ryan Wieneke earned a walk and he scored a run, Chad Kunkel earned a pair of walks and Colton Fruth earned a walk.

The Rebels of the Victory League defeated the Stone Poneys of the Sauk Valley League, where the Rebels took advantage of walks and a couple of miscues. Luke Weber started on the mound for the Rebels, he threw six innings to earn the win, he gave up just three hits, issued one walk and he recorded six strikeouts. Chris Smolke threw one inning in relief, he recorded one strikeout. Luke Weber went 2-for-3 with a double for a RBI, he earned a walk and he scored three runs. Dustin Littlefield went 2-for-4 with a RBI and he scored a run and Brett Kramer went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, he was hit by a pitch and he scored one run. Nick Jelacie went 1-for-3, he earned a pair of walks and he scored three runs. Zach Heidmann was credited with a pair of RBIs, he was hit by a pitch, he scored a run and he earned three walks.
